Investor-Relations Firm Hires Billerica, Mass., High-Tech Networking Start-Up.

Mar. 26--EnvoyWorldWide, a three-year-old Billerica start-up that sells businesses systems to deliver messages to thousands of computers, phones, and fax machines simultaneously, has been tapped by a Boston investor-relations firm to deploy its system for more than 850 publicly traded companies.

CCBN, which runs investor-relations Web sites and related services for nearly 3,000 companies, has picked Envoy to deliver news from about 850 of those companies to thousands of shareholders, fund managers, Wall Street analysts, and others. The service helps them comply with new federal securities laws requiring full disclosure.
