Rent-Way Shareholders Also Sue Former Controller, Others.

Mar. 24--The class-action lawsuit filed against Rent-Way Inc. by its shareholders names several defendants.
In addition to the company, Rent-Way CEO William Morgenstern and the auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, the lawsuit also seeks damages from former Controller Matthew Marini, former President and Chief Operating Officer Jeffrey Conway and Rent-Way Chief Financial Officer William McDonnell.
U.S. District Judge Sean J. McLaughlin will preside over a hearing April 9 in Erie in which the two sides will argue their motions.
