Proxy Statement Discloses Executive Earnings at Arkansas' Murphy Oil Corp.

Mar. 28--Murphy Oil Corp.'s five top executives each earned more than $750,000 last year in salary, bonuses and converted stock options.

In a year when net income rose 11 percent -- and set a company record $331 million -- Murphy executives received salary increases ranging from 9.5 percent to 16 percent and increases in bonuses ranging from 30 percent to 100 percent. The information is contained in Murphy's proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
