California Supreme Court to Hear Intel E-Mail Case Involving Former Employee.

Mar. 28--SAN FRANCISCO--A former engineer at Intel in Folsom, apparently the first person anywhere to be legally barred from trespassing in cyberspace, will have his case reviewed by the California Supreme Court.
The justices Wednesday stepped into a dispute that already has broken new legal ground by equating hitting the "send" button with jumping a fence into somebody's back yard.
Kourosh Kenneth Hamidi contends he wasn't trespassing at all but merely exercising freedom of speech when, evading security measures designed to block his use of an employee message system, he repeatedly bombarded former co-workers at Intel Corp. with company-bashing e-mails....
