First National Bank of Olathe, Union Bank in Kansas Appoint Chairman.

Apr. 2--George D. Thompson has been elected chairman of First National Bank of Olathe and Union Bank, succeeding Raymond Glasnapp, who died in February.
Thompson previously was president of First Olathe Bancshares Inc., the holding company for the two banks.
Thompson said he would seek "to maintain the independent and resourceful culture that has allowed this organization to flourish."
Thompson formerly was president and chief executive of GRA Thompson White & Co., a Kansas City-based accounting and consulting firm for financial institutions. He left the company in the fall of 2000 to become executive vice president and chief financial officer of...
