Aircraft Manufacturer Fairchild Dornier Cuts More Jobs in San Antonio.

Apr. 9--Capping a major round of layoffs last week, insolvent aircraft maker Fairchild Dornier on Friday quietly dismissed more San Antonio workers.
Officials with the Munich, Germany-based company wouldn't say how many jobs they cut, but workers caught in the cuts estimate the local work force has slipped to 200, down from 600 last month.
The company pink-slipped 250 employees last Tuesday after announcing it had filed for insolvency in a German court.
"People have been dribbling out the door all week, but Friday was a big one," said Michael Moore, a customer-service worker dismissed last Tuesday.
