Florida Computer Services Firm to Buy Albany, N.Y.-Area Software Developer.

Apr. 9--In a move to gain access to higher-profile work, Rapid Application Developers Inc. has agreed to be purchased by CGI Management Consultants Inc., a Florida computer services company.
"It's an opportunity to serve bigger clients and work on bigger projects," said Girish Bhatia, who was a co-founder and chief executive of the 5-year-old software developer. He remains CGI's director of consulting services in the Albany area.
Financial terms of the deal, which Bhatia said started taking shape four months ago, were not disclosed.
