Microsoft Windows Hardware Engineering Conference to Focus on Future.

Apr. 15--Personal computers may be selling more slowly than they used to, but expect plenty of enthusiasm for the machines this week at the Microsoft Windows Hardware Engineering Conference in Seattle.

About 2,500 software and hardware developers from around the world are coming to get the latest scoop on the features, functions and hardware to be driven by Microsoft's software in the coming years.

The event, more familiarly known as WinHEC and held annually in different locations, runs tomorrow through Thursday at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.
