Apr. 15--KIOSK COMPANIES PLANNING TO MERGE: SMO Multimedia, an Everson, Wash, developer of software and systems for Internet kiosks, said it signed a letter of intent to merge with Netbooth Corp., a Las Vegas company building Internet kiosks and providing Internet access to hotel rooms.
Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a statement, SMO expects the deal to close "within the next few weeks."
MEGO FINANCIAL CORP., a Las Vegas time share developer changed its name to Leisure Industries Corp. effective today. To reflect the switch, the company is changing its stock ticker symbol to LESR from MEGO.
