Loss of Thai Tourism Agency Account Doesn't Faze Advertising Company.

Apr. 24--Advertising agency Leo Burnett Co expects its billings to be flat this year at 1.93 billion baht, following the loss of a major account with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

Leo Burnett handled the TAT's domestic and international campaigns, worth about 300 million baht a year, for six years. However, it declined to bid when the contracts came up for renewal in October last year.

The TAT awarded the international account, worth about 200 million baht, to Dentsu (Thailand), while the domestic account worth 68 million baht went to Siamese DMB&B.
