San Jose, Calif., Firm to Buy Telecom-Equipment Facility from Siemens AG.

Apr. 26--German industrial giant Siemens AG is selling its Lake Mary telecommunications-equipment plant to a California company as part of a worldwide reorganization of its faltering communications division.
Sanmina-SCI Corp. expects to close on the plant and two other Siemens operations in Europe by the end of June, Siemens officials said Thursday.
The Lake Mary operation, which employs about 300 people, will continue to make equipment for Siemens under a multiyear production agreement.
The plant produces switches used to route telephone calls and other devices for wire-line communications.
