Attorney General Ashcroft to Face Protesters at University of Missouri Speech.

May 8--Anyone wanting to attend U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft's commencement address will need a lawyer-to-be as a friend or relative.

Ken Dean, the University of Missouri-Columbia's interim law school dean, said this morning that the school's 150 graduates and their families and friends will fill 1,800-seat Jesse Auditorium to the point where other people won't be able to attend the May 18 graduation ceremony or Ashcroft's speech. Meanwhile, Mid-Missouri Peaceworks Director Mark Haim said his agency will help organize a protest of Ashcroft outside the auditorium.
