Auto Parts Business in St Marys, Ohio, Rolls Out 15 Millionth Wheel.

May 11--ST. MARYS, Ohio--While many other manufacturers in the automotive industry are experiencing cutbacks and layoffs, AAP St. Marys Corp. celebrated shipping out its 15 millionth wheel Friday and nearly 15 years of growing business.
"We're proud to maintain steady work for almost 400 associates," AAP President Bruce Sakamoto said at a ceremony Friday.
Supplying cast aluminum car wheels primarily to Ford and Honda, AAP's 15 millionth wheel will roll out on a Honda Accord after reaching the manufacturer. A huge increase in sales over the next two years prompted AAP to invest about $6.3 million in equipment to boost production.
