Walt Disney World Revamps Imagination Ride in Florida.

May 28--Kathy Mangum sits in a purple car on a motionless track in Epcot's Journey Into Your Imagination ride while her team members scurry about, adjusting the tone of the soundtrack, running wires for dozens of animatrons and assembling video screens for a multimedia show.
For Mangum, a Disney vice president in sandals, the apparent chaos in the cordoned-off Eastman Kodak building represents a final countdown.
The completely redone Imagination ride reopens Saturday.
But this ride represents much more than just a new version of an old attraction. It's a test of Walt Disney World's vision.
