For decades, companies that needed to rejuvenate sales turned to New York agency Wells, Rich, Greene Inc.

To Dallasites of the 1960s and '70s, the firm was equally known for its founder, Mary Wells, and her corporate-suite marriage to Harding Lawrence, the flamboyant head of Braniff Airways.
