May 30--When visitors to a model home announce they are ready to sign a contract, Homebuilders Financial Network tries to block the exits.
The Miami Lakes mortgage broker partners with regional builders across the country to sell home buyers their loans, too. The set-up is a familiar one in the increasingly integrated home building industry, where the largest companies not only sell houses but mortgages, insurance and closing services -- products people used to buy from other businesses on their path to homeownership.
