U.S. Postal Service to Issue Semipostal Stamp Honoring 9/11 Rescue Workers.

May 31--The U.S. Postal Service will issue a semipostal stamp, its second ever, to benefit families of rescuers killed or permanently disabled while helping others during the Sept. 11 terrorist attack.
The nondenominated stamp will be issued June 7 and sell for 45 cents. The 11-cent difference from the regular first-class postage will be contributed to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for distribution to the families, after the Postal Service's cost.
