Prattville, Ala., Holiday Inn Finishes $1.5 Million Facelift.

May 30--PRATTVILLE, Ala.--This week owners of the Holiday Inn in Prattville completed a $1.5 million renovation project that began nearly two years ago.

The 129-room facility now has all-new furniture, carpet, paint, fixtures, lounge areas and banquet rooms.

The Holiday Inn was built in the early 1970s and is the oldest hotel in Prattville.

"We are the newest (hotel) furniture wise and the oldest in bricks and mortar," said Roscoe Williams, who owns the hotel with his brother, Richard Williams.

Richard Williams said he began the renovations because he plans to recertify the hotel as a Holiday Inn for the next 10 years.
