Wirless Operator's Marketing Unit Plans to Import More Phones from China.

Jun. 5--Advanced Wireless Marketing, the marketing arm of the country's largest mobile phone operator, Advanced Info Service, plans to import more affordable handsets to compete in the low-end market.
The company has been importing handsets from China and marketing them under its own brand name, N-Joy. The models had become highly popular and the brand was among AWM's top five sellers, the company said.
The British brand Sendo, produced in China, also has attracted more users since prices were cut.
