Jun. 9--BEAVERTON, Ore. -- For a wireless-company executive, Timothy Timmins was having trouble with technology at the company's annual meeting in May.
As the chief executive of Metro One Telecommunications worked through a PowerPoint presentation, every time Timmins moved his wireless microphone over the keyboard, the presentation flipped unexpectedly to the next slide.
"This is getting very frustrating," Timmins said as he tried to report on the successes of the past year in offering directory assistance and other services to wireless customers.
