Jun. 10--DISPOSABLE PHONE HEADS TO MARKET: New Horizons Technologies International Inc., the Orlando company that plans to bring a disposable cellular phone to market this summer, won approval from the Federal Communications Commission to sell its low-cost phones in the United States.

The company expects to begin shipping phones to distributors this month and says the phones will be in retail stores by August.

"It's a very big deal for us to have passed the FCC tests," said Stephen Romeo, New Horizons vice president for sales.
