Monterey County, Calif., to Reconsider Cable Agreement.

Jun. 9--Monterey County supervisors, who have been locked in litigation with the county's major cable television franchise, may not go along with a request to adjust the franchise agreement to reflect a merger.
The Board of Supervisors has scheduled a hearing at 11 a.m. Tuesday to consider whether to formally agree to allow the franchise to move from AT&T Broadband to AT&T Comcast.
But an AT&T spokesman says that threatening denial of the changeover is a "ploy" to improve the county's position in the litigation.
