Riverside, Calif., Chambers of Commerce to Boost Political Clout.

Jun. 12--RIVERSIDE, Calif.--The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce is contemplating using its members' money to influence political races and ballot initiatives, a move some hope would boost the business community's clout with lawmakers.

The organization, which represents some 1,600 businesses, will begin studying in the next few weeks the pros and cons of forming its own political action committee.
