Arizona Attorney General to Discuss Deaths, Police Cars with Ford Officials.

Jun. 21--Arizona's attorney general is coming to Michigan to talk to Ford Motor Co. executives about several fire-related deaths of police officers driving Crown Victoria Police Interceptors in Arizona.

Attorney General Janet Napolitano and Sue Cischke, vice president of environmental and safety engineering at Ford, are scheduled Tuesday to discuss the safety of the Police Interceptor, including the position of its fuel tank. Napolitano and others say the vehicle is prone to catch fire during high-speed rear-end collisions.
