Jun. 20--TENET HEALTHCARE'S SHARES JUMP $1.56: Tenet Healthcare Corp.'s shares rose $1.56 to $78.10 Wednesday, a day after announcing it agreed to pay $55.75 million to settle allegations two of its hospitals overbilled the U.S. government's Medicare program. The Santa Barbara health-care services company (NYSE: THC) owns or operates health-care facilities in 17 states.
THQ Inc. on Wednesday was recommended as a strong buy by Jeff Goverman of Pacific Crest Securities. Despite that, the company's shares dropped 61 cents to $29.84 Wednesday. The Calabasas company (Nasdaq: THQI) develops and publishes interactive entertainment software.
