Thai Firm to Use Capital Increase Funds to Finance Future Development.

Jul. 9--Listed developer Sansiri Plc plans to utilise 70 percent of the fresh funds raised from its capital increase to buy unfinished projects and land plots for future development by the end of the third quarter this year.
"We're looking to acquire potential assets and land plots from private owners, not banks. We hope we can clinch major deals and spend 70 percent of the new funds by the end of September," president Srettha Thavisin said.
The company's capital increase plan, which is pending approval at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting on Aug 7, will mobilise 2.6 billion baht.
