Jul. 11--ARCADIA, Calif.--Timothy Ryan's companies have always been known for their innovation in the field of computer audio. But now, Ryan, the founder, president and chief executive officer of Arcadia-based Midiman Inc., which was renamed M-Audio last week, is also being recognized for his business savvy.
The 46-year-old Altadena resident was recently honored by Ernst & Young as Media/Entertainment Entrepreneur of the Year for the greater Los Angeles area, making him eligible for the national award, which will be announced in November.
