Microsoft Sues Sierra Vista, Ariz., Computer Store Owner over Copyright Laws.

Jul. 12--Microsoft Corp. is suing a Sierra Vista computer store owner and his wife for copyright and trademark infringement of its software, but the owners flatly deny the charges.

In fact, William Howard, co-owner of Computer Max, maintains he and his wife did not own the store when the first offense allegedly occurred.

The suit was filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Tucson. It seeks damages and an injunction against Computer Max, owned by William and Tracy Howard.
