Covisint CEO Says Firm, Suppliers `Are on the Same Team'.

Jul. 25--Harold Kutner, longtime purchasing executive at General Motors Corp., comes to Covisint LLC at a time when many are questioning the future of the much-hyped automotive online auction and e-commerce company.
Covisint has cut staff, lost its first chief executive officer just 14 months after he started and continues to face resistance from auto suppliers, the very companies it needs to survive, let alone thrive.
As head of GM purchasing, Kutner was known as a tough customer for suppliers, making many wonder whether he's the right person to convince them Covisint is worth their time and money.
