Jul. 31--NORMAN, Okla.--Hitachi Computer Products America Inc., headquartered in Norman, is expanding its national sales coverage by adding five manufacturing representative firms, bringing the number to 11.
The independent contracting firms in California, Washington state and Texas, will become official manufacturing representatives on Thursday.
"We were seeking additional coverages in other areas of the country -- technological centers that we did not have coverage in," said Chuck Phillips, vice president of marketing and sales at the Oklahoma Manufacturing Division, the computer-components manufacturing plant in Norman.
