Thai Musical Artists Rally to Enforce Copyright.

Aug. 14--More than 100 musical artists from GMM Grammy Plc held a rally in front of the Commerce Ministry yesterday to urge all parties in the industry to conform with the copyright law.

The artists, including song composers, producers and singers, have called for the ministry to take action against those who have refused to pay musical fees or conducted illegal operations, especially karaoke jukebox operators.

Phayong Mukda, a famous songwriter, said he joined the rally because he wanted the public to show sympathy for artists by using legal products and paying musical fees.
