Dallas-Area Companies Meet SEC Deadline for Executives to Certify Statements.

Aug. 15--AdvancePCS, Atmos Energy Corp., Blockbuster Inc., Flowserve Corp., Lennox International Inc., Sabre Holdings Corp. and TXU Corp. were among the companies delivering documents to the Securities and Exchange Commission on the last day. They joined two dozen other local companies that were required to file and submitted their paperwork over the last three weeks.
"I don't think it's a particular surprise that everybody has complied," said Bob Estep, a corporate attorney and partner at Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue in Dallas. "The temper of the times has changed dramatically.
"People had better pay attention to what Congress and the regulators are saying."...
