Two Tempe, Ariz., Technology Companies Hurt by Economic Downturn.

Aug. 16--A pair of small Tempe, Ariz., technology companies have announced actions that reflect the continuing struggles of the high-tech sector. Prodeo Technologies Inc., a producer of manufacturing equipment for the semiconductor industry, said Thursday it filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. And Integrated Information Systems Inc., a Tempe-based technology consulting business, said it faces delisting next week from the Nasdaq SmallCap market because it fails to meet the exchange's minimum bid price per share.
