Bloomington, Minn.-Based Firm Looks to Maintain Golf-Course Equipment Sales.

Aug. 17--A few years ago, golf courses around the United States were enjoying a booming economy and the reflected glory of Tiger Woods' success.
Only one of those phenomena is still intact. But that's no crisis for the Bloomington-based Toro Co., which is now looking for ways to maintain sales of its golf course maintenance and irrigation equipment.
"There's been significant growth in new golf courses in the last decade and we've benefited from that," said Tim Ford, vice president of Toro's commercial division. "The rate of growth has slowed."
