Britton, S.D., Celebrates Closing of Old Pool, Library for New Facilities.

Aug. 22--What does the city of Britton do when two popular public venues close down?
Throw a party, of course.
Friday, the city's old public library and swimming pool will close for a final time, both to be replaced by new facilities.
The Britton School District has purchased the property both sit on to build a multi-purpose gym. A new library is being built just north of state Highway 10. A new swimming pool is being built near a city park.
