Builders Kick in $200,000 for Tax Initiative for Orange County, Fla., Schools.

Aug. 9--Builders are donating $200,000 today to the campaign to sell Orange County voters on raising taxes for a multibillion-dollar school-construction program.

The contribution more than doubles the amount of donations raised so far by the Change 4 Kids campaign.

Companies that spearheaded the donation were McCree General Contractors & Architects; Beers Skanska; Centex Rooney Construction Co.; and SchenkelShultz Inc.
