Two Airlines Deny Switching Flights from Bangkok, Thailand, to Singapore.

Sep. 4--British Airways and Qantas yesterday denied they had changed their flights and stopovers from Bangkok to Singapore.

The two airlines were responding to reports suggesting they made shifts due to insufficient airport facilities and high fees charged at Bangkok International Airport.

However, they did reduce their flights to and from Bangkok during the summer schedule from April 1 to Oct 25 this year for commercial reasons.

British Airways said in a statement it made a commercial decision to reduce its schedule to Bangkok from March as part of the downturn in the aviation industry after the Sept 11 event.
