WHAT IT DOES: NetMotion develops software for Wi-Fi networks, also known as 802.11 or WLAN (wireless local area network). The software provides security for the network and is designed for reliability in dead spots and roaming between a Wi-Fi network and a wide-area wireless network, such as a data network operated by a carrier such as AT&T Wireless.
