East Aurora, N.Y.-Based Moog Lands $26 Million Contract for Korean Fighters.

Sep. 6--The Korean Air Force is modernizing its fighter aircraft fleet, a move that will benefit Moog Inc.'s East Aurora operations.

Boeing St. Louis will supply 40 F-15 Eagle fighters to South Korea. The aerospace giant has signed a $26 million agreement with Moog to produce the flight controls for the aircraft.

Production will start in Moog's 2003 fiscal year at its East Aurora site. The flight controls will be delivered from 2004 through 2006, company officials said.
