Atlanta Public Relations Group to Be Taken Over by New York Company.

Sep. 18--Headline Group, one of Atlanta's oldest independent public relations agencies, is being bought by New York-based Edelman Public Relations Worldwide and merged with Edelman's local office.
The combined firm will carry the Edelman name and have annual billings of about $5.2 million, officials with both agencies said Tuesday. That would rank it No. 5 on the PR Council's latest list of Atlanta firms. The purchase price was not disclosed.
