Nevada Power Lists 2.5-Acre Land Parcel in Las Vegas for Sale.

Sep. 24--Nevada Power Co., facing financial trouble and a hostile takeover bid from the Southern Nevada Water Authority, has listed a prime piece of property for sale on East Flamingo Road.
The 2.5-acre parcel of land has served as the Barbary Coast employee parking lot for the past 20 years and is just a couple hundred feet from one of the world's busiest intersections.
The property has been appraised at $21 million, Nevada Power spokeswoman Sonya Headen said. A source in the commercial brokerage industry said it could go as high as $27 million.
