State, Industry to Put $50 Million toward Training New Jersey Workers.

Oct. 2--New Jersey's economy will be stronger and its workers and employers will benefit from $50 million that will be spent on training in fiscal year 2003, state Labor Commissioner Albert G. Kroll said recently.

Kroll said approximately 45,000 workers at nearly 500 companies will be trained this year and $50 million will be invested as part of New Jersey's Customized Training program, the largest training initiative funded by a partnership between the state and private industry.
