South Dakota's Higher Education System Sees Record Enrollments.

Oct. 11--Official numbers released Thursday show that Aberdeen's Northern State University has 3,013 full- and part-time students this fall, 25 fewer than a year ago.

That's a drop of less than 1 percent at a time when the state's higher ed system as a whole is experiencing record high enrollment.

NSU's headcount translates into the equivalent of 2,188.4 full-time students, down 13.7 from fall 2001. That's also a drop of less than 1 percent.
