Burger King Eyes British Steak-Chain Sites.

Oct. 13--Fast-Food chain Burger King is considering a bid for the properties of the Aberdeen Steak Houses restaurant chain, which was placed in receivership two weeks ago.
The 17 sites include some of the best venues in London, such as Leicester Square and Oxford Street, and would fit well in Burger King's extensive portfolio of 686 UK units. The properties are thought to carry a collective price of just UKpound 5 million (E8 million).
Burger King spokesman Jonathan Patterson said: "Our estate agents have received brochures of the properties and we're always looking for sites. We will take each one on its own merits."
