Sale of Two-Building Complex to Test Demand for Marquee Properties in Chicago.

Oct. 25--A second trophy tower overlooking the site of Millennium Park is going up for sale, as Prudential Plaza joins next-door neighbor Aon Center in the increasingly crowded market of downtown office buildings looking for new owners.
Shorenstein Co. LP, of San Francisco, which bought Prudential Plaza barely two years ago, is preparing to put the 2 million-square-foot, two-building complex on the market, looking to take advantage of the strong demand by investors for marquee properties, sources said.
Next-door neighbor Aon Center, a 2.5 million-square-foot tower, is also going on the market, creating a unique competition between two premier properties. Formal...
