Martha Stewart Faces Sacking by SEC.

Oct. 22--America's domestic goddess Martha Stewart will almost certainly be charged with insider dealing by the US Securities and Exchange Commission over her sale of shares in ImClone, a biotech company.

In what will be the highest profile scalp in a clean-up of Wall Street excesses, the SEC has recommended filing civil charges against the queen of home-making after a lengthy investigation which has transfixed Middle America.

The Commission is likely to demand harsh penalties, including her removal as chief executive of the company that bears her name and a fine of three times the amount of money Stewart allegedly saved by selling shares shortly before adverse disclosures...
