Oklahoma City Warehouse Market Revives Slowly after Recession.

Oct. 30--Oklahoma City and other secondary warehouse markets were silent for a year.

That's the way specialist Bob Puckett sizes up the industrial market through last summer: "an exaggerated quiet period."

Now, he sees it stirring, as Middle America shakes off the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, deals with rumors of war and slogs doggedly out of recession.

"Things are generally picking up," said Puckett, industrial specialist with Price Edwards & Co.

There is no commercial mortgage rush, however, to mirror the one in home building and buying fueled by low interest rates.

"There's so much money out there flowing out of the equities...
