Hewlett-Packard Posts Fourth-Quarter Earnings of $390 Million.

Nov. 21--Hewlett-Packard Co. beat analysts' expectations Wednesday for its fourth-quarter earnings, sending its own stock and other technology shares up in after-hours trading.
Tech stocks had already climbed in regular trading Wednesday, with the technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index rising 44.84, or 3.3 percent, to 1,419.35.
In trading after the closing bell, California-based H-P's shares rose as high as $1.50 above Wednesday's close of $16.85, up 30 cents from Tuesday.
H-P's stock is the last of the 30 components in the Dow Jones industrial average to report earnings for the most recent quarter.
