Nov. 20--TERABEAM PANEL TO EXAMINE ALTERNATIVES FOR COMPANY: Terabeam, one of the most well-funded private technology companies in the area, has formed a special committee of independent board members to investigate its options, including the possible liquidation of the company and a share-buyback program.
In a letter to shareholders dated Monday, Terabeam, based in Kirkland, said the committee would explore its possibilities by Dec. 1. The company also moved up its annual shareholder meeting a month to Feb. 6.
