Powell, Tenn., Medical Supplier Buys Waste Fluid Management Products Firm.

Nov. 15--DeRoyal, a worldwide supplier of medical products based in Powell, announced Thursday the purchase of the assets of Waterstone Medical Inc., a company that makes waste fluid management products for use in surgery.
"This is the 32nd little company we have bought," said Pete DeBusk, chairman and CEO of privately held DeRoyal.
"While everybody else has been doing big deals and selling out and going public, I've just been slowly, steadily building the business. This allows me to go buy more and more of these little companies. We're on a feeding frenzy right now."
